Pilates is a strengthening method for both the mind and body, with a focus on your trunk or core muscles. In addition to strength, Pilates also focuses on stability, flexibility, posture and breathing. There is no special equipment required, but you are asked to bring your own exercise mat. Limited quantities of yoga mats available at the library, Please call before the program to reserve a mat per session if you don’t have one. There is no registration for this program, but space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
