English: Trilogy on the Cloud series - American Literature Renaissance: the beginning of American thought and literature that introduced 4 important writers who lived in the Boston area in the mid-nineteenth century and their works opened up American literature and enlightenment, writers from the New York area: Walt Whitman (Leaves of Grass), O. Henry (short stories), Edith Wharton (The Age of Innocence), F. Scott Fitzgerald (The Great Gatsby) and Betty Smith (A Tree Grows in Brooklyn). Those writers and poet left generations of readers the important works from the 19th to 20th centuries that are called American Classics.
