Do you want to take the first step toward designing and illustrating characters of your very own? In this program, you will learn the fundamentals of creating and illustrating well-rounded characters, existing in a world of your own design. Throughout this class, we will reference great mangas and take a look at how their creators invent characters. This program will be led by manga illustrator Raakin Mahbub, a local Queens-based artist. This program is funded by New York City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams.
