Streetwise Pedestrian Safety Tabling

Streetwise was created by the NYC DOT Office of Safety Education and Outreach to help older New Yorkers protect themselves in the city’s traffic environment, which is especially important because New Yorkers over 65 are involved in up to 50% of the city’s pedestrian fatalities. This tabling will specifically cover dangerous driving behaviors, pedestrian safety tips, and best practices. Samantha Carter, senior program coordinator of the NYC DOT, will be available to answer any questions.
