Join us for a shadow puppet performance of "Fox Borrows Tiger's Reputation." This famous Chinese fable tells the story of a clever fox captured by a tiger. The fox backs up his claim to be the "King of the Jungle" by using the tiger's imposing presence to scare the other forest animals. This performance features both traditional and contemporary shadow puppetry, engaging children with a delightful educational experience.
After the performance, you will learn how to manipulate the shadow puppets and have a hands-on opportunity to explore this ancient art form.
This program is funded by the New York State Assembly Queens Delegation.
