Interested in the future of public transit in Queens and our region?
The MTA is hosting a series of open houses on the 2025-2029 Capital Plan, a roadmap for the next five years of construction projects. Queens Public Library is hosting the second open house on Wednesday, November 13 from 4-7pm, where you can hear from MTA leaders on what the plan will mean for your ride and our community. You can also speak with MTA experts about the details of the plan. MTA staff will be on hand to discuss career opportunities and business opportunities for Minority-, Women-, Disadvantaged-, and Service-Disabled Veteran-owned firms, and there will also be information about the MTA’s fare discount programs.
Can’t make this event? MTA is bringing these open houses around the New York region throughout the fall. Visit https://future.mta.info/capitalplan/ for more details.
