Health Workshops

Mental Health 101

This is an introductory workshop designed to equip young people with essential skills for understanding and supporting mental health. Youth will learn to identify key warning signs of suicide, recognize factors that heighten mental health risks, and explore the complex impact of social media on youth mental health. They will also learn about the signs of burnout as well as effective coping strategies to manage stress and daily challenges. We will provide practical resources for seeking help and discuss who the trusted adults are that we can go to for help. The workshop will end with a Q&A and discussion segment to deepen their understanding and discuss their concerns.
