English: The sound of the bamboo flute drifts through crimson trees, while strings sing beneath the moon’s ethereal glow. Named after the Tang dynasty poem “Spring River Flower Moon Night,” this piece ranks among China’s top ten classical compositions. With this music as its theme, the Ba Ban Chinese Music Society’s Mid-Autumn Festival concert explores the aesthetic and interpretation of “moon culture” through various art forms, including music and poetry. The bilingual program also introduces the Mid-Autumn Festival’s symbolic meanings of “reunion and longing” to diverse audiences. This is a live presentation with the option to join virtually.
