Black History Month: Labor of Love Art Exhibit and Artist Talk

QPL is proud to present a Black History Month "Labor of Love" art exhibit and artist talk. In celebration of Black History Month, original works of art with the 2025 theme “African Americans and Labor" will celebrate a focus on the various and profound ways work of all kinds – free and unfree, skilled, and unskilled, vocational or voluntary – intersects with the collective experiences of Black people throughout the diaspora. The “Labor of Love” art exhibit will be on display in a variety of mediums - including watercolor, charcoal, acrylic, photography, mixed medium, small ceramics, pottery, and sculpture - at the Central Library main lobby from February 1st through February 28th, 2025.
