We meet monthly at Jackson Heights in the basement program space, and registration is not required. Copies of each month's book are available to check out at the reference desk. The book for January is "Maus Volume 2: And Here My Troubles Began." Picking up where the first volume left off, Maus Volume 2 follows Vladek and Anja through Auschwitz to New York as author Art Spiegelman grapples with the success he has found by chronicling something so tragic and personal. For ages 14-18; please be mindful that many of the books discussed in the Banned Books Club include challenging topics.
