Jessica Nirvana Ram is a poet, essayist, educator, editor, and eyeliner enthusiast, who occasionally moonlights as a fiction writer. As a daughter of Indo-Guyanese immigrants, her work often explores themes of inheritance, expectations, and radical self-love. Her writing has been featured in numerous literary journals, including “Mag 20/20,” “Ghost City Review,” and “Moss Puppy Magazine”. Ram’s poem "i am unfit to raise daughters" was a winner of the 2020 AWP Intro Journals Project. Today, she reads from her debut poetry collection, “Earthly Gods”. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
