Space Month: A Conversation with NASA Astronaut (retired) Barbara Morgan

Join us for a live conversation with Barbara Morgan, retired NASA astronaut and veteran schoolteacher. This program is for learners of all ages. Come with your curiosity about living and working in space. Barbara looks forward to answering your questions and sharing stories. She hopes to get some stardust on you! Barbara Morgan was the schoolteacher who trained with the Challenger crew as the backup for Teacher in Space Christa McAuliffe. Morgan was selected to NASA’s 1998 class of astronaut candidates and flew on space shuttle Endeavour in 2007 to help build the International Space Station, traveling 5.3 million miles and logging over 305 hours in space.
