AANHPI: Origami Craft

The art of folding (oru) paper (gami) was brought to Japan in the 6th Century. Due to how expensive paper was, it was practiced by the exceedingly wealthy, or monks for religious ceremonies. Today, anyone can learn this craft! Come learn more about the history and significance of origami and try some paper folding yourself!
