Great News for NYC! #NoCutsToLibraries

Thank You for Standing with Libraries!

Mayor Eric Adams, City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams, and the New York City Council have fully restored funding for our city’s public libraries in Fiscal Year 2025.

This outcome is directly tied to your advocacy. We asked you to contact your elected leaders to make clear that Queens Public Library is important to you, your families, and your neighbors, and you took action. This means we can return to Sunday service at Central and Flushing libraries, maintain universal six-day service, and continue providing the programs and services that you rely on and that help our communities thrive.

We are enormously grateful to Mayor Adams, Speaker Adams, Finance Chair Justin Brannan, Libraries Chair Carlina Rivera, the entire City Council — especially the Queens delegation — and Borough President Donovan Richards for their investment in Queens Public Library.

Thank you for helping us achieve a great result for our borough and for our city. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Please take a moment to show appreciation to our City's leaders by sending them a quick thank you note!
