Children and teenagers are increasingly suffering from gun violence. Research shows gun homicides among children and teenagers are rising dramatically. Firearms are now the leading cause of death for children and teenagers. The purpose of this exhibit is to educate the community from the perspective of the youth that live daily in an environment of youth gun violence. The exhibit includes images of gun violence and recommendations for prevention created by youth from local schools and communities with high rates of youth gun violence. The artwork will communicate and express the impact gun violence has on the youth behind the artwork.
