Mayor Eric Adams, City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams, and the New York City Council have fully restored funding for our city’s public libraries in Fiscal Year 2024.

This outcome is directly tied to your advocacy. We asked you to contact your elected leaders to make clear that Queens Public Library is important to you, your families, and your neighbors, and you took action. This means we can continue providing the programs and services you rely on and helping our communities thrive.

We are enormously grateful to Mayor Adams, Speaker Adams, Finance Chair Justin Brannan, Cultural Affairs and Libraries Chair Chi Ossé, the entire City Council — especially the Queens delegation — and Borough President Donovan Richards for their investment in Queens Public Library.

Thank you for helping us achieve a great result for our borough and for our city. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Please take a moment to show appreciation to City leaders by sending a quick thank you note!
