English: Discover the beauty and expressive power of Chinese music through dynamic demonstrations on pipa, dizi, zhongruan, percussion, and more. Participants will learn simple Chinese through music, try instruments hands-on, and explore how Chinese music compares with Western traditions. Led by the Ba Ban Chinese Music Society of NY, this program explores Chinese notation, scales, performance styles, and the cultural stories behind iconic repertoire—followed by a lively Q&A.
