Culture Connection: Vinyl Dreams - A Collector's Legacy, featuring Gravesend Selector and Lulu Lewis

Vinyl Dreams: A Collector’s Legacy is multi-media music spectacular in two parts. Part one is curated by DJ Gravesend Selector who will captivate the audience with live vinyl sound-scaping, looping, and storytelling. Drawing from the vast vinyl record collection acquired by his late uncle—featuring rock and roll, R&B, soul, and Asian pop with a focus on 1960s through the 1980s. Part two of the Vinyl Dreams program will be a live music performance with duo Lulu Lewis. Their sound is a bold fusion of post-punk, new wave, disco, and soul—at once avant-garde and irresistibly danceable. They are a New York City–based band founded by vocalist and artist Dylan Hundley (Metropolitan, directed by Whit Stillman) and multi-instrumentalist Pablo Martin (Tom Tom Club).
