Hispanic Heritage Month Author Talk with Sara Cordón

Queens Public Library is pleased to host this Hispanic Heritage Month Author Talk with Dr. Sara Cordón. Dr. Cordón is a Spanish writer, scholar, and editor and works as a Postdoctoral Faculty Fellow in Writing at NYU. She holds a Ph.D in Latin American Literatures from CUNY, an MFA in Creative Writing from NYU, an MA in Humanities from Carlos III University of Madrid, and an MA in Book Publishing from the University of Salamanca. She was awarded the Cosecha Ene Short Stories Award in 2017, and she is the author of seven educational fiction books for young adults. Join us as she discusses her book "Para Espanol, Pulse 2," a story of a young woman from Spain that settles into her new life in New York City while getting her master's degree in creative writing at a prestigious New York university.
