Voices Off: ASL Storytime Series with Urban Stages

Join us at Astoria Library for a storytime in American Sign Language! Deaf performer Carmen is excited to share ASL fun with early learners and their families. Each session will contain an interactive mix of stories, movement, music, and rhymes for bilingual families and curious learners! (Ages 2-5) We encourage all participants to “turn off” their voices for this storytime! This will help us set the mood for ASL, which is a non-verbal language. This program is funded by New York City Council Member Tiffany Cabán.
