Adult Program, General

Soprano, Celia Castro, celebrates Hispanic Heritage!

Soprano, Celia Castro, a Puerto Rican/Dominican native New Yorker, is a classical singer who is paying tribute to her Hispanic heritage by singing this program of pieces that show a wide range of what Hispanic Heritage means to different peoples. She is accompanied by Mexican pianist and composer, Max Lifchitz. You will hear some classical selections, a special piece written by Maestro Lifchitz, as well as some more popular songs you may recognize from listening to Spanish movies and TV. You will leave with a richer understanding of the ways in which Spanish Heritage can be expressed. More on www.rebeldiva.me.
