Robotics Programming for Beginners: For Children Ages 10 and Up
During this six-session course, children will learn what a robot is and how to instruct it to perform tasks using a visual programming/coding language. For the hands-on part, we will use a visual programming/coding language such as Blocky or Scratch to transform logical steps to computer/robot instructions. We may proceed further and transition from the visual programming/coding environments to Python, a more advanced programming language for controlling robots.
You may bring your own laptop or use the library's equipment.
Space is limited. Call Glen Oaks Library at 718-831-8636 or ask at the 2nd floor Children's Reference Desk to preregister.
