Queens based woodwind ensemble Quintet of the Americas presents a rich program this Spring titled Living American Composers, featuring premieres by two local composers from Queens: Allen Shulz and Sunny Knable! The music compositions range from American folk to Louis Armstrong inspired works. The group is comprised of flutist Kim O’Hare Bonacorsa, oboist Andrés Ayola, clarinetist David Valbuena, bassoonist Alex Davis, and horn player Barbara Oldham.
