PBS KIDS/WNET, known for its exceptional educational media for children is excited to offer workshops for parents and caregivers of preschool children. While your little one participates in fun activities with library staff, you'll learn about: •Preschoolers and Media (11/12/24): This workshop models’ successful strategies to use at home for maintaining healthy boundaries, making appropriate media choices, and using quality educational media. •Everyday Science (11/19/24): This workshop helps develop and strengthen positive attitudes toward science through play, exploration, and learning together at home using PBS KIDS programs that focus on STEM and inquiry-based learning. •Let’s Learn (11/26/24): This workshop introduces parents and caregivers to Let's Learn, a public television series that supports children ages 3-7 learning at home through fun lessons educators from the NYC DOE and teaching artists. ¡Asistencia en español disponible en cada sesión!
