PBS KIDS/WNET, known for its exceptional educational media for children, is excited to offer a series of workshops for parents and caregivers of preschool children. While your little one participates in fun activities with library staff, you'll learn about: •Preschoolers and Media (11/7/24): This workshop models successful strategies to use at home for maintaining healthy boundaries, making appropriate media choices, and using quality educational media. •Everyday Science (11/14/24): This workshop helps develop and strengthen positive attitudes toward science through play, exploration, and learning together at home using PBS KIDS programs that focus on STEM and inquiry-based learning. •Let’s Learn (11/21/24): This workshop introduces parents and caregivers to "Let's Learn," a public television series that supports children ages 3-7 learning at home through fun lessons educators from the NYC DOE and teaching artists. ¡Asistencia en español disponible en cada sesión!
