Digital Inclusion: Online Safety and Privacy

This class will cover the basics of online safety, including how to create strong passwords, recognize phishing attempts, and practice secure browsing habits. It will also address privacy settings on popular social media platforms and how to safeguard personal data. Additionally, the class will include guidance on securing personal devices, with a hands-on session where participants can receive personalized assistance. This program is open to all, and it is recommended that you bring your own device since the library's are limited. Register and get more information by visiting in person or by calling (718) 465-6779. This program is funded by New York City Council Member Dr. Nantasha Williams.
