English: The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Asia Department regularly showcases Chinese painting and calligraphy, with exhibitions rotating every six months. The current exhibit highlights the poetic elements in art from the Song Dynasty to modern times. Healthfirst and Flushing Library are collaborating to host a lecture series featuring Mr. Wei Zheng, an expert from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. These lectures will explore the museum’s Chinese art collection in two sessions, coinciding with the special exhibition.
