Hispanic Heritage: Guatemalan Worry Dolls

According to the tradition of the Mayans from Guatemala, when children are scared or have nightmares, caregivers give them worry dolls before they go to sleep. Children then place them under their pillows, and when they wake up, their worries are gone! According to the legend, the doll worries about the problem, allowing one to sleep peacefully. Learn about worry dolls and create one to take home with you. For children ages 7 and up, no registration required.
