English: When visiting a museum, the number one rule is always “no touching.” While this is true, King Manor Museum has dozens of objects, some over 200 years old, that visitors can touch and interact with! These are the objects we bring along for our Touch Objects Workshop, where we bring the museum to you. Objects will include a small wooden gavel, a book from 1781, a piece of pottery found in our backyard, and an actual cannonball left by the British during their occupation of Manhattan and its neighboring boroughs during the American Revolution!
