In this class we will use watercolor and pastel to explore the landscape as an expressive vehicle. Bringing their individual strengths together, we will work intuitively and expressively, focusing on color shape and mark. Drawing inspiration from the landscape’s treatment by a variety of artists, we will consider landscapes that are real and imagined, natural and man-made.
No experience necessary.
Participants should commit to attending all sessions. Registration begins on Monday October 6th. Please call Glen Oaks Library at 718-831-8636 to register.
