Creative Aging: Exploring the Landscape with Acrylic Paint
In this 6-session class, we will use the landscape as a vehicle by which to discover the marvels of acrylic painting. With its vast assortment of shapes, textures and colors, the landscape offers an opportunity to express our emotions while using imagery that is compelling and accessible. Basic paint application techniques, color mixing and mark making using brushes, palette knives will be covered. No experience necessary - all are welcome. This will be onsite at Briarwood Library with Teaching Artist Richard Estrin. Please call the library to register: 718-658-1680.
This program is funded by New York City Council Member James Gennaro.
