Did you know that there are over 450 species of bees in New York state? Join The Bee Conservancy to explore Elmhurst Library’s garden to learn about and look for local pollinators and the habitats that support them. Come observe and explore nature from the point of view of your pollinator neighbors. As we look for bees, you are also invited to take pictures of the bees and plants you see and upload them to iNaturalist to help document local bee populations in The Bee Conservancy’s Bee the Solution Community Science project. This is an outdoor event. Please wear comfortable attire and shoes and bring items you may need for an outdoor experience, such as a water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, or hat. Explore solo, with friends, or family!
