Following the success of the first series, Flushing Library continues its collaboration with renowned poet and artist Yan Li for a second Poetry Creative Writing Workshop. Focused on writing, feedback, and revision, the workshop invites participants to share poems, exchange ideas, and refine their unique voices under Yan Li’s mentorship. Drawing on more than five decades of experience, Yan Li will offer insights into modern and contemporary Chinese poetry, from the 1980s avant-garde movement to today’s global literary scene. The workshop welcomes Chinese poets and all who are passionate about poetry. This program is sponsored by the Starr Foundation.
