Black History Month: What Resistance Means in Our Community

Black resistance has a long history in the U.S. The movement’s strategies and philosophies have been an inspiration to other communities (across class and cultural lines) in the fight against oppression and inequity in this country. What does resistance mean to you and your community? How have you stood up for yourself and others to make changes in actions, behaviors, and policy? Throughout February, share your experiences and bring in a photo to represent your own opposition of discrimination. Visit http://queenslib.org/blackhistory2023 for Black History Month programs, booklists, resources, and more!
