Art Showcase with Guerda Faustin

Guerda Faustin is a Haitian visual artist whose creative journey began in childhood, working in mediums such as colored pencil, oil, and acrylic. Alongside a full-time career as a pediatric occupational therapist, Guerda merges art and therapy, using creativity to empower and support children from diverse backgrounds. Her work amplifies marginalized voices and highlights art’s power as a tool for social healing and personal expression. As a woman artist, she fosters dialogue and representation, celebrating her Haitian identity while elevating overlooked narratives. Exhibited throughout New York State, Guerda’s work reflects her dedication to social justice, community empowerment, and the vital contributions of women in the arts. Guerda Faustin’s art will be exhibited during Black History Month and Women’s History Month, from Monday, February 2, through Friday, March 13 (excluding February 16). Artist Meet and Greet: Sunday, February 15 at 2pm.
