America 250: Apples of New York: Harvest, Heritage and a Sweet New Year

Since 1976, America’s bicentennial, the apple has proudly served as New York’s official state fruit. As we celebrate our 250th anniversary, join us in the “Big Apple” for an exploration of this delicious fruit, fall harvest traditions and the symbolism of apples dipped in honey for the Jewish New Year. From historic heritage fruits to modern orchard favorites, many amazing apples were first grown here in New York State! Join us for a rich and crisp interactive workshop exploring food, culture, and community during the fall season. First-come, first-served!
