Hey Second, Third and Fourth Graders (and adventurous First Graders)!
This November, QPL is hosting a 4-week Dog Man Reading Challenge at select QPL locations to celebrate the series and author, Dav Pilkey, and get you pumped for the next book in the series — while earning prizes!

The Dog Man series is available in our collections!

WHAT’S THE BARK ABOUT?
Each week in November, you can embark on a new Dog Man reading adventure. Pick up a booklet at one of our participating locations — view list below. While you are there, join one of our fun and creative programs for kids, including kick-off events for the challenge.

READ, READ, READ!
The more books you read, the more rewards you’ll earn! You can read books from the Dog Man series, or other graphic novels and books. Record which books you have read on the book log in the booklet. Show your book log to a librarian to earn your paw badge!

EARN PAW BADGE STICKERS TO RECEIVE RAFFLE TICKETS

Bronze Paw Badge: read 3 books to receive 1 raffle ticket.
Silver Paw Badge: read 6 books – must include at least 1 Dog Man book – to receive 2 raffle tickets.
Gold Paw Badge: read 9 or more – must include at least 2 Dog Man books – to receive 3 raffle tickets.

Get hands-on with fun, guided activities inspired by Dog Man and his pals.

THE GRAND FINALE: DOG MAN BASH!
Over the last week of November, we will celebrate the grand finale with epic Dog Man bashes at all participating locations! We’re talking:

Crazy Balloon Twisting: Get a balloon creation that’ll make you howl!
Paws-itively Perfect Photo Booth: Strike a pose with your friends!
Grand Prize Raffle: You could win a whole set of Dav Pilkey’s amazing books!
