During this unprecedented time, our Job & Business Academy (JBA) staff is busy creating innovative opportunities for our community to stay connected.
Do you need help with your resume or creating a new one? We now have career coaches and employment counselors available Monday through Friday to provide resume assistance via email—as well as respond to job search questions.
Resume assistance includes feedback and suggestions regarding formatting and content, skills and qualifications you may wish to highlight, and keyword choices to best spotlight your ability to do the job you are seeking.
Assistance is available Monday-Friday, on a first-come, first-served basis. Email your resume or questions to jobsearchhelp@queenslibrary.org—expect a minimum 48-hour turnaround for assistance.

Job Skills Training for Queens Library Website
Queens Public Library’s Job Skills Training is Back!
We are offering FREE OSHA 30 hour certification Training and FREE 10 hour Site Safety Training. If you are looking to secure a job in the construction industry, you must have these certifications.
We are also offering Security Guard 8-Hour (pre-assignment) and 16-hour (on-the-job training) training classes.
